An exciting journey through time, from
the Stone Age to the present, awaits
visitors at the LVR-LandesMuseum.
The museum houses an outstanding
collection of artefacts, treasures and
art dating back 400,000 years including
the world-famous original Neanderthal
man. Its workshops and events offer
children, teenagers and adults new
journeys of discovery.

Next to the regularly changing exhibi-
tions, the StadtMuseum’s permanent
exhibition shows the 2,000 year-old
history of the City of Bonn from Roman
times until today. There is a wide offer
of events and entertainment for child-
ren. The Arndt-Haus (Adenauerallee 79)
is only opened for special exhibitions
and events.
AugustMackeHaus
FREE ADMISSION
The August Macke Haus is the building
that housed the former residence and
studio of August Macke. It is the only
studio of him which is contained in
its original form. His home town was
Bonn. Permanent documentation on
his life and presentation of his works.
