Beethoven City Bonn
Bonn is the birthplace of the world-famous composer Ludwig van
Beethoven (1770-1827), home of the Beethovenfest and Beethoven
Orchestra. His house of birth accommodates the largest Beethoven
collection in the world.
Art & Culture
The Museums Mile with its five major museums, as well as countless
other museums and attractions in Bonn and the region, next to thea-
tre, cabaret, opera, dance and a comprehensive offer of rock and pop
music ensure an extensive cultural offer.
Political Bonn and the Region
The “Weg der Demokratie” (Path of Democracy) in the former gover-
nment district of Bonn offers visitors the opportunity to retrace the

Romantic Rhine
Bonn and the region as a “gateway to the romantic Rhine” can best be
experienced with a cruise along the Rhine from Bonn to Königswinter
with a visit to the legendary Dragon’s Rock (Drachenfels).
