the Bundeskunsthalle offers a varied

cultural programme of international

importance. More than 15 million

guests from all over the world have

visited over 200 exhibitions since its

opening in 1992. (In individual cases

an additional fee for special exhibitions

can be charged.)

Geschichte presents contemporary

history and brings it to life: with various

original exhibits appealingly put in sce-

ne – and interactive media. Interviews

with contemporary witnesses accom-

pany the visitor on its way through the

exhibition from the end of WWII up

until today.
