Museums & Indoor activities
If the weather should not play, the houses of the Bonn Museum Mile are waiting to be explored.
For example, the Zoological Research Museum Alexander König with many exciting exhibits on vertebrates and arthropods. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there is an ever-changing special exhibition.
Furthermore, you will find there the Bundeskunsthalle, the Art Museum and the Deutsches Museum. The Haus der Geschichte is particularly interesting for visitors who are interested in German history from World War II to the present day.
Another very exciting museum is the LVR Landes Museum, especially the interactive exhibition is also exciting for the younger visitors and there is much to discover.
South of Bonn in Königswinter you can also discover the famous Sea Life. There you can watch the animals feeding and listen to exciting lectures, which are especially interesting for children.
Anyone looking for action in colder weather is in the right place at theLasertag bonn Arena in the Beuel district. On 400 square meters, you can let off steam in the arena.

Walking and Hiking
Those who enjoy the outdoors outside of the summer are just in the mood for a stroll through the colorful mountain-covered Siebengebirge. The highlight is of course an autumn hike to Drachenburg Castle or to the summit Drachenfels to enjoy the fantastic view over Bonn and the region.
If you are less into the woods and nature and you prefer a walk through the city, the Poppelsdorferallee is just right. The path extends from the main station to the Poppelsdorf Palace. The baroque castle is now used as a research facility for the University of Bonn. The adjoining Botanical Garden of the University of Bonn is worth a visit in every season.
In the Bonner Waldau there is a beautiful small game park, especially in the autumn created here by the play of colors of nature an idyllic atmosphere. Here you can marvel at wild boar, red deer and fallow deer. At vending machines you can also buy food for small money and feed the animals yourself.
The forest and wildlife park Rolandseck 10km south of Bonn is largely natural and offers a wonderful view of the Siebengebirge. On 350,000 square meters of surface can be found on the trails of many species. Directly next to the Arpmuseum invites you to visit.

Parks and green areas
There are a lot of beautiful parks in Bonn for example the Rheinauen
. You can catch the last shafts of sunlight and have a walk. On sunny days you can also collect some chestnuts or foliage. When it’s windy enough you can maybe even fly a kite.

If you want to dabble, do some sports or just relax have a look on our selection of indoor swimming pools, thermal baths and sauna.
You can find a lot of warm- and coldwaterpools, experience pools, relax pools with seats and many more. It is definitely worth to come over and enjoy a relaxed day.
Erlebnis Hallen Freizeit Bad Bornheim
The waterpark offers indoor and outdoor a lot of possibilities. There are playgrounds, different pools and water slides.
Monte Mare Rheinbach pretends lot of offers. You can feel like swimming in the ocean with the swimming pool with articular waves, relax in the whirlpool or have fun on one of the water slides. There is also an indoor diving center with a 10 meters deep dip tank.
Ahr Thermen und Saunapark Siebengebirge
If you want to sweat you must visit the the Ahr-Therme, you can relax in a 37 degrees hot whirlpool. If this isn’t enough you can go and attend the Saunapark in Siebengebirge.
