Kulturelle Highlights findet man in Bonn überall.
Barocke Bauwerke aus der Zeit, als die Stadt
Residenzsitz des Kurfürsten war, prägen die
Innenstadt. Beethovens 250. Geburtstag im
Jahr 2020 wird mit hochkarätigen Konzerten und
Veranstaltungen gefeiert. Auch die Ära Bonns als
Bundeshauptstadt ist zum Beispiel in der Villa
Hammerschmidt, dem ehemaligen Plenarsaal
oder Adenauers Wohnhaus noch immer erleb-
bar. Zudem bieten die fünf Häuser der Museums-
meile jährlich rund 2 Millionen Besuchern hoch-
wertige Ausstellungen.
Ein besonderes Highlight ist außerdem der
„Romantische Rhein“ mit Besuch von Drachen-
fels und Schloss Drachenburg, das man mit der
historischen Drachenfelsbahn erreichen kann.
Für besonders aktive Besucher machen die
hochkarätigen Wander- und Radwege die
einzigartige Naturlandschaft erlebbar.

Beethoven‘s 250th birthday in 2020 will be celebrated
with top-class concerts and events. Bonn‘s era as
the Federal capital can also still be experienced
for example in Villa Hammerschmidt, the former
Plenary Chamber or Adenauer‘s home. In addition,
the five buildings on the Museum Mile also offer
high quality exhibitions to about 2 million visitors
every year.
A particular highlight is also the "Romantic Rhine"
with a visit to Drachenfels and Drachenburg Castle,
which can be reached with the historic Drachenfels
railway. Top-class hiking and cycle paths bring the
unique natural landscape to life for particularly
active visitors.
