It is a real pleasure to cycle along Germany's longest river. Discover the different landscapes and towns of North Rhine-Westphalia to the right and left of Father Rhine
. From the Siebengebirge near Bonn, passing Cologne Cathedral, along the MedienHafen in Düsseldorf and through the Rhine district of Neuss to Krefeld. A varied landscape will accompany you on your cycle tour. The route takes you from Duisburg into the Netherlands.

Idyllic Rhine and impressive city architecture
The Erlebnisweg Rheinschiene
is a 160 kilometre cycle path on both sides of the Rhine between Bonn and Duisburg. It runs on both sides of the river and leads to a total of 17 towns and municipalities. It is specially designed for cyclists and runs on flat routes with very little traffic. Topic boards provide information on places of architectural interest and features of the landscape. A large number of bridges and Rhine ferry boats make it possible to plan individual routes from a day-trip to one lasting several days.
