Jogging & Inline Skating
Bonner Brückenrunde
(Bonn bridges tour) is now a training route for joggers and inline skaters
Between the three Bonn bridges over the Rhine there is a flat, tarmac route stretching for 15 kilometres. With the support of Deutsche Telekom, kilometre stones were placed along the banks of the Rhine, making the route even more attractive to recreational sports enthusiasts.
Runners and walkers can find accurate orientation points on their training runs that are in line with the standards of the German Athletics Association (Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband - DLV) enabling them to record their interval times from these kilometre stones. The start/finish with the first kilometre stone are located in the Beuel district of the city below Kennedy bridge near the Restaurant Rheinlust.
On the move on 8 rollers or 2 feet
In addition to the Rhine promenade stretching over several kilometres, the Bonn Rheinauenpark also offers many jogging and inline skating options with its lanes running in perfect straight lines through the Rhineland Nature Reserve.
The largest halfpipe in Europe is available in Rheinauenpark for advanced inline skaters, who want to let off steam with artistic flair.
