The wine gums that have now become popular worldwide have been made in Bonn since 1920. A little later the now famous rubber bears were added to the range and the slogan HARIBO makes children happy soon followed. A Haribo shop in the city centre (Am Neutor 3) and a factory sales outlet in Friesdorf (Friesdorfer Straße 21) present the range of products.

The Weck factory is located in the Bonn district of Duisdorf on the border to Alfter and has been in the hands of the family since 1950. A small, purpose-built factory sales shop from the 1970s offers everything you need for making preserves and jam. The price discount is about 15 to 30 % below the normal shop sales price.
You will also be given new recipes and good tips for making preserves either at the cash desk or when talking to like-minded customers.
