Beethoven's native city welcomes international artists
Every year in late summer between the beginning of September and the start of October Beethoven's city of Bonn welcomes top international orchestras, major ensembles, famous soloists and the next generation of promising artists to the Beethovenfest Bonn.
Unusual venues
The musicians do not only appear in the Beethovenhalle or in the Chamber music room at Beethoven-Haus, but also in many attractive venues in the Bonn region. These include palaces and churches, historic buildings such as Petersberg Guesthouse, Drachenburg Castle, the old Waterworks or Palais Schaumburg, but also exciting, modern architectural premises such as the Post Tower Lounge or the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany.
